The cost of a franchise can vary greatly depending on many factors. A typical new restaurant costs between $1.2 to $1.6 million for a turn-key business. The $60 thousand franchise fee, construction, start-up supplies and Associate training are all included.
Franchisees pay Royalties of 5% of gross sales and a co-operative marketing fee of 4%. In addition, there are other ongoing costs including food, beverage, labour, operating supplies and services, utilities, technology and other occupancy costs.
